By accessing or using NumisLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
NumisLens is a digital platform that allows users to catalog, manage, organize, and document coin and banknote collections. The service includes features for collection management, image storage, AI-assisted coin identification, and insurance documentation preparation.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use NumisLens. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Important Disclaimers
No Valuation Guarantee
Any values displayed or stored in NumisLens are provided by users or derived from user-selected sources. NumisLens does not appraise, authenticate, guarantee, or insure any coin or banknote, and does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or market value of any item.
Insurance Disclaimer
NumisLens is not an insurance provider, broker, or agent. Insurance-related features are provided solely to assist users in organizing and presenting their own collection information. Acceptance of any report, export, or documentation by an insurance company is at the sole discretion of that insurer.
Market Risk
Coin and banknote values are subject to market fluctuations, liquidity constraints, and collector demand. Past prices, purchase prices, or comparable sales do not guarantee future value.
AI Identification
NumisLens uses artificial intelligence to assist with coin identification and attribution. AI-generated results are provided as a starting point for research only and may contain errors. NumisLens does not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated identification. Users should independently verify all attributions before making purchasing, selling, or insurance decisions based on them.
User Responsibility
Users are responsible for reviewing, updating, and confirming all collection data, including values and descriptions, before relying on it for insurance or other purposes.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to NumisLens. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Third-Party Content and Image Licensing
NumisLens displays reference specimen images sourced from third-party institutional collections, including museums, archives, and scholarly databases. These images remain the property of their respective institutions and are used under verified open licenses, including Public Domain Mark 1.0, Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 (CC-BY 2.0), Creative Commons Zero (CC0), and the Open Database License (ODbL 1.0).
NumisLens does not claim ownership of third-party reference images. All such images are provided for informational and educational reference purposes in connection with coin identification and cataloguing.

7. Content Removal Requests
If you are a rights holder and believe that content displayed on NumisLens infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at dev@numis-lens.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) the URL of the material on NumisLens; (c) your contact information; and (d) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NumisLens and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
NumisLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to NumisLens at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NumisLens and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
